Overview:
Build upon your own experiences to develop a broader understanding of what it means to be a great leader. You will be given the time and space to learn about new models and tools that will enhance your leadership capability.
Programme Outline:
The programme consists of 2 facilitated learning days where you will explore the neuroscience behind leadership, understand the roles emotional and social intelligence play and consider the importance of self-awareness for leaders. Returning to practice with new ideas, ways of thinking and being motivated and invigorated to put them into practice.
Leaders who are self-aware, know the areas in which they are strong and those which need some work. Being honest about one’s strengths and shortcoming puts a leader in a position for improvement and growth.
Grounded in adult learning theory and an opportunity to discuss leadership styles with your peers. The delivery style may be different to your previous learning experiences. It won’t be ‘chalk and talk’ and you won’t be overloaded with models and tools you’ll never use or recall in 6 months’ time. Instead, you will draw upon your existing knowledge and connect into this, reinforce this, build on this, layer this and develop this, meaning you return to the workplace motivated, invigorated and ready to try out new ideas and new thinking.
